HOW DOES YOUR GARDEN GROW? Did you go to the Dearborn Garden Walk yesterday? Keep the green thumb theme going by mentioning the event at participating Oak Street stores (Kate Spade, Piazza Sempione, Juicy Couture and many more) this week through Saturday, and you'll be entered to win a luxury weekend. The deluxe prize includes accommodations at the Sofitel, brunch at Cafe des Architectes, dinner at Spiaggia and swag from neighborhood boutiques.
DOGGIE DELIGHTS: Bring your pooch to Lincoln Park's Dunlays on Clark this evening for a Fido-friendly dinner. Seatings will be on the sidewalk patio for this three-course prix-fixe menu made for pups by Three Dog Bakery, along with organic smoked pigs' ears from Dunlays' sister restaurant Smoke Daddy for $3 each. 6-8PM, $10 per dog goes towards ARFHouse Animal Rescue.
BORN TO RUN: Tweak your fitness routine with tips from pro athlete Craig "Crowie" Alexander. The Hawaii Ironman winner will be on hand at the Metropolis Theater in Arlington Heights tonight to discuss his ultra successful training program in a Q & A session with NBC-5 sports anchor (and Hawaii Ironman finisher) Mike Adamle. The event is sponsored by nearby running store Runners Hi 'n Tri. 7-8PM, $20.
