ALL KILLER, NO FILLER: Head to Millennium Park before the glorious Venetian Night display for the Grant Park Orchestra performing hits from such crowd-pleasing operas as "Carmen," "La Boheme" and "La Traviata." The high-spirited concert is part of the ongoing Grant Park Music Festival. Sat. 6:30PM, free.

RIDE 'EM COWBOY: See Lady Gaga collaborator Space Cowboy perform live at Fulton Market hotspot Lumen. Dubbed the "first digital rock artist," Mr. Cowboy will perform a DJ set followed by a live show featuring his hit songs "Falling Down" and "We Like to Party" off of his new album. A private reception (RSVP to info@lumen-chicago.com) featuring Ultimat Vodka cocktails will take place from 9-10PM. Sat. 9PM-3AM, $20.

WINGING IT: Head to the ninth annual Wing Fest at Schaumburg's Alumni Club. You'll get to vote for your favorite chicken wing recipe from a variety of local restaurants, including Hooter's, Moretti's and Rosati's, while listening to live music. Sun. 12-5PM, $20.

BANG YOUR HEAD: More than 13 metal bands will take over the First Midwest Bank Ampitheatre in Tinley Park for the Mayhem Festival. You won't want to miss headliners Slayer and Marilyn Manson, but you might want to consider ear plugs. Sun. 2:15PM, $25-$57.50.
