Have you ever thought while riding the CTA, "What the 'EL' is going on?"
Well then, there's a show for you.
"EL Stories" hits the stage in Edgewater Feb. 7. The show is based on almost two dozen interviews with CTA Red Line riders from communities as far as Hegewisch to Rogers Park, the Sun-Times reports.
The Waltzing Mechanics will bring the commuter confessions to life at the City Lit Theatre, 1020 W. Bryn Mawr Ave., through Feb. 23.
The acting troupe will even select an audience member at each performance to unload his or her own transit tales. Tickets are $10.
