Groupie alert -- there's a star in town.
Actor Vince Vaughn is shooting his hometown roots some love by shooting portions of a television pilot in the downtown area of suburban Des Plaines, The Daily Herald reports.
According to the newspaper, the shoot is taking place at the Choo Choo Restaurant, and the pilot involves two college graduates who move from the suburbs to the city.
Vaughn is directing the pilot.
The actor has previously shot portions of a movie in nearby Buffalo Grove where he attended high school.
