SHOP LOCALLY: In case you haven't done enough shopping over the past couple of days, the Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs has another option for you in the form of the third annual Glitter: A Holiday Shopping Event, kicking off today at the Cultural Center. The two-day event offers unique items from 35 Chicago designers and independent boutiques. 11 a.m. - 8 p.m., 78 E. Washington St.

BA-BA-REE-BEER: Café Ba-Ba-Reeba is your after-work destination tonight as the Spanish tapas restaurant serves up tastings of more than 30 hand-crafted beers from various breweries. The Holiday Craft Beer Bodega also includes signature passed pintxos, which you'll no doubt need to fend off the effects of all that brew. 6-8 p.m., 2024 N. Halsted, $25

HOOP JAM: Bulls player Kyle Korver will be in the house tonight for the launch of the new NBA Jam video game at the PHLI shoe store in Hyde Park.
