Tonight: Enter the Shrine

Plus, Social Stimulus Club and Hawks watchin'

ANNIVERSARY BASH: Chicago nightlife aficiandos in the know can tell you about at least one night at The Shrine over the past year that blew their mind. Perhaps it was the night Common and The Roots threw down live with surprise guest performances by Heavy D and Zoë Kravitz. Or LeBron's huge BlackOut bash attended by the likes of Jay-Z. The spot has single-handedly put the life back in the South Loop life and this week it celebrates one year in the biz with an impressive lineup of parties. It all kicks off tonight with reknowned DJ Premier and a special salute to the recently departed GURU of Gangstarr. On Thursday, the party continues with a performance by Chicago rapper Rhymefest and on Friday, DJ Spinna offers the best of Stevie Wonder all night long. 2109 S. Wabash, Cover varies

SOCIAL GIVING: The gals from Stimulus Social Club invade Lincoln Park's Zella this month. Expect to see the usual full crowd in the house, many likely clamored around the TVs watching the Hawks. Tonight's soiree benefits Misericordia, a home for infants and children with developmental disabilities. 5:30 - 9 p.m., 1983 North Clybourn Ave, RSVP here. $10

There's not a bar/restaurant in the city that won't have the game on tonight, but Mahoney's Pub & Grille should be especially interesting with a visit from ArtBeat Live's Elliott From who will be painting the Blackhawks logo in between periods while you enjoy $3 domestic drafts. 7 p.m., 551 N Ogden Ave
