BOWLING AND BREW: Roll over to 10pin Bowling Lounge tonight for Beer on the Lanes. Forty-five bucks gets you appetizers, 24 different types of Oktoberfest beer (one for each lane), and three hours of unlimited bowling. And no, we're not talking about Budweiser, it's good microbrewery stuff. 7-10 p.m., 330 N. State St., $45

DESIGNATED DRUNK: It's been years (hopefully) since you would have been caught stumbling down the Division and State Street corrider after running up a large bar tab at any one or several of the establishments in the area, so if you're looking for a nostalgic blast from the past, tonight is the night. Funk Groove Lounge unveils its new Designated Drunk party tonight, a sloppy dance party that includes a 2-hour hosted bar that's extended by an hour if you get in the door before 1 a.m. Drink specials include $2 Old Styles, $3 Jameson shots, $4 signature shots, and $5 signature martinis. Looks like someone's skipping class (work) tomorrow. 11 p.m.-4 a.m., 5 W. Division

GOT JOKES? Head over to Bronzeville's Joke sand Notes for tonight's Open Mic Night. Comedian Marlon Mitchell hosts this weekly joint where the area's best amateur standup comics get a chance to show they've got the right funny stuff -- or get mercifully booed off the stage. $5 martinis befor 9 p.m. 8-10:30 p.m., 4641 S. King Dr
