You've become BFFs on Facebook, now you want to meet your friends in person. Hit up Face 2 Face, the first-ever in-person networking event for Facebook fans, at the River West nightclub Rednofive on Friday, Dec. 5.
Guests will have the opportunity to meet Facebook friends and "business acquaintances" (is that what the kids are calling hookups nowadays?) at the event from 8PM to 4AM. You can search the Facebook events page for the Face 2 Face invitation to send to anyone you want to meet up with at the event. A word to the wise: Be careful what you wish for; we've all heard the "I met them online" horror stories.
The bash will feature hors d'oeuvres by local catering company Jordan's Food of Distinction and cocktails from sponsor 10 Cane Rum. Partial proceeds from the evening will benefit Friends United (a juvenile diabetes foundation) and the Sue Duncan Children's Center (a nonprofit after-school program). Cover is $20 after midnight.
