South Loop's Cuatro Presents “Yelloween” With Veuve Clicquot

By now you know that Veuve Clicquot and Halloween go together like champagne and caviar. From Spybar's body-painting bash to NV Penthouse Lounge's two-day Halloween-a-thon, one would think the French champagne house has gone a little batty. (Well, "veuve" does mean widow, after all.)

Here's one more for you, this one with some south-of-the-border spice. South Loop Latin restaurant Cuatro is throwing a "Yelloween" soiree on Halloween night from 5:30 p.m. until 2 a.m. Bottles of Veuve Clicquot Yellow Label will be specially priced at $50 a pop, while flutes will go for $10. Cuatro chef Eddie Jimenez will serve a limited dinner and late-night menu of his Latin fusion dishes.

Don your best Halloween get-up (the widow Clicquot herself, perhaps?) for the costume contest starting at 10:30 p.m. The top three outfits (judged by audience applause) will win--what else?--Veuve Clicquot swag and gift certificates to local restaurants. Music by the Chicago Sound Source DJs (Stacy Kidd, FLX, Lady D, Craig Loftis, David Sabat, Craig Alexander and Lego) plus percussion by Louie-Louie and vocals by Dajae and Tai Davis will set the sexy vibe all night.
