South Side Irish Parade 2012
Moshpix: The South Side Irish Parade made a triumphant return to Chicago Sunday after a two-year hiatus when the parade was cancelled because it had become a spectacle of public drunkenness and left the neighborhood a rowdy mess. This year's parade had fewer floats, greater security and a zero-tolerance crackdown on alcohol. An estimated 150,000 people came out to enjoy the parade's rebirth.
