Common's Star-Studded Chicago Gala

Moshpix: There was plenty of star power in the house Saturday night Chicago rapper/actor Common honored pioneering poet and humanitarian Dr. Maya Angelou, along with singer Keke Palmer (right), businesswoman Dee Robinson Reid and actress and TV host Sherri Shepherd (second from left). Mayor-elect Rahm Emanuel and many other notable Chicagoans also attended the event at the Intercontinental Hotel which benefited the Common Ground Foundation.
