Berghoff hosts annual Oktoberfest celebration

The Oktoberfest lassies are going to be out in full force!
Even though the calendar still says September, the Oktoberfest celebrations are already in full swing.
This week, check out Prost!, Berghoff Restaurant Group's annual festival that runs Wednesday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. at Federal Plaza (Adams and Dearborn).
The Bavarian-style revelry includes German beer, food and polka.
Bands will take to the stage on each evening from 5 - 9 p.m. including Maggie Speaks (Wednesday), Sixteen Candles (Thursday) and Modern Day Romeos (Friday).
Berghoff is also using the occasion to unveil its new cookbook, which contains family recipes from Carlyn Berghoff, a four-generation Chicago restaurateur.
Admittance to the festival is free.
