Mo' Mojito Madness

Carnivale celebrates their 300,000th mojito sold

Mojitos are an institution at Carnivale. So it's appropriate that the festive Latin-inspired restaurant would commemorate their 300,000th mojito sold with a four day festival in honor of the delectable drink.  From Monday, March 23 through Thursday, March 26, there will be a special event each day, as well as a specialty mojito menu offered throughout the week:

Monday, March 23 is Mojito Monday with $5 mojitos during both lunch and dinner.  Enjoy specialty mojitos created by Carnivale's mixologist Victor Baheza.  Recipes come from France, Cuba, Mexico and Portugal, as well as a few homegrown creations.

Tuesday, March 24 is Mojitos 101 Day where Beheza teaches a hands-on class where students can learn how to make classic and raspberry mojitos.

Wednesday, March 25:  Take in live music by William Gomez Cache from 7:30 p.m.- 11 p.m. in Carnivale's bar and lounge while sipping – you guessed it – mojitos from the specialty menu.

Thursday, March 26 is the official blowout 300,000th Mojito Celebration from 6:30 p.m.- 10 p.m.  Enter a mojito recipe contest to be judged by local celebrities.  The grand prize includes dinner for four at Carnivale, a downtown hotel stay, a Bacardi gift basket and your winning mojito featured on Carnivale's menu for a month.  Hang out with the Bacardi Girls and groove to live music in the dining room by Mannix Martinez Tribute to Latin Legends. Reservations are highly recommended.
