“Idol's” Haley Comes Home

One of "American Idol's" top three contestants, Haley Reinhart, is coming home.

The Wheeling native will be in town Saturday for her hometown celebration that includes a parade and concert.

Village President Judy Abruscato has declared the day "Haley Reinhart Day."

Her hometown schedule includes an apparance at an AT&T store in Deer Park, a 4:30 parade in Wheeling and a 6:30 p.m. concert at Arlington Park Racetrack.

Free tickets for the concert are sold out but reserved seating is still available, according to Arlington Park's website.  Tickets can be purchased at the Arlington Park box office until  6:00 p.m.

This is the second year in a row that the northwest suburbs have seen an "American Idol" star.  Just last year, Mount Prospect's own Lee DeWyze was named the show's winner.
