Happy National Man Date

Have a bro-mance at Sheffield's March 19

Remember 'The Man Show with Jimmy Kimmel and Adam Carolla?  German drinking toasts and girls jumping on trampolines?  How much more stereotypical (yet somehow hilarious) could it get?

Not since 'The Man Show' have we had a chance to celebrate all things manly, but with ''National Man Date'' day coming up on Thursday, March 19, the draught we experienced when 'The Man Show' was cancelled in 2004 is over.

Sheffield's Beer School Bar (3258 N. Sheffield) and Paramount Pictures call on Chicago guys to celebrate the holiday with Chicago's official after-party of the upcoming film 'I Love You Man' starring Paul Rudd and Jason Segal. From 9 p.m. to midnight, Sheffield's hosts an evening fitting for budding bro-mances with guys' night out drink specials, beer, complimentary barbecue and prizes.  Enjoy ''man trivia'' and a rock, paper, scissors tournament (yes, seriously) at 10 p.m. for a grand prize of a ''beer bouquet.''

Paramount Pictures will also give away a free ''bro-mance'' trip to Florida. The trip will include roundtrip tickets on American Airlines from Chicago Midway to Tampa,  around of golf for two at Saddlebrook Resort Tampa, two tickets for a Tampa Bay Lightning hockey game and two nights' accommodations and a $50 dinner gift certificate at Doubletree Guest Suites.
