Go Green Early

Forever Green party benefits two charities

Irish eyes will definitely be smiling on Friday when the Forever Green party kicks off at Navy Pier.

The 34th annual event, hosted by the Young Irish Fellowship of Chicago, is billed as the city's largest St. Patrick's Day bash and charitable event.

The event features live performances from the Larkin and Moran Brothers, Weber Band, Shannon Rovers and Irish dancers. The party, held in the Grand Ballroom, is from 5 - 10 p.m.

Funds will be donated to Maeve McNicholas Memorial Foundation, which fights pediatric brain tumors, and AAction Autism, which supports international humanitarian efforts confronting autism.

Regular and VIP tickets range from $40 to $65 and are cheaper in advance. Log on to www.youngirish.com for more information.
