Friday/Sunday Tix Remain for North Coast Festival

Three day fest hits Union Park Labor Day Weekend

When the North Coast Music Festival debuted in 2010, nobody knew what to expect.

But it turns out Chicago does have a strong appetite for yet one more three-day fest on the calendar, and especially one that's focused on dance music DJs and hip hop MCs.

Which is why the fest returns on Labor Day Weekend, offering a 50-strong lineup Friday through Sunday in Union Park.

Friday and Sunday single day tickets are still available for the festival, which boasts familiar names such as Pittsburgh rhymer Wiz Khalifa, Chicago's own Common, and club music hitmakers like David Guetta, Fatboy Slim and Thievery Corporation.

The party doesn't end after each day of the festival. An extensive lineup of official North Coast after-parties are being held at several locations around the city.

All children under the age of 12 will be admitted to the festival for free.
