The Lips' Wayne Coyne is the boy in the bubble at the VH1 Rock Honors. Will he pop it with a massive pitchfork this summer?

The Flaming Lips -- those delightfully odd, psychadelic rockers from Oklahoma -- will be the closing act for this year's Pitchfork Festival, the Trib's Greg Kot announced in his blog.

The Flaming Lips' set is going to be decidedly audience participation -- with ticketed fans getting to vote on the Lips' Web site for the songs they want to hear.

For more on the festival, check out Kot's blog, or head straight to Pitchfork's site.
