    Chicago becomes the center of the BMX Universe this weekend as the Dew Tour rolls into town. The biggest stars in BMX racing take to the air, the park and the dirt to see who can pull off the biggest and coolest tricks. (Published Thursday, Jul 22, 2010)

    UPDATE: Due to Friday evening's weather, Saturday will now feature BMX Dirt, Vert and Park Finals.  Friday ticketholders will get in free.

    Catch some air this weekend as the Dew Tour returns to Chicago.

    The Nike 6.0 BMX Open will be held Friday and Saturday at Soldier Field's South Festival Lot, and features competitions with the top BMX athletes and freestyle motocross.

    Close to 200 BMX athletes including undefeated Dew Cup champion Jamie Bestwick and Chad Kagy will compete in the vert, park and dirt disciplines.

    Highlights include Friday night's BMX dirt finals under the lights where the riders live by the saying "go big or go home." Friday night's competition will also be followed by a concert by Motion City Soundtrack and New Politics.
