Chinatown's Chinese New Year Parade

Moshpix: Not surprisingly, Chinatown was the place to be on Saturday for the annual parade to celebrate Chinese New Year. 2012 marks the Year of the Dragon, which only comes around every 12 years and is considered one of the luckiest and most prosperous of them all. Thousands of people packed the streets to watch the procession of high school bands, floats, dragons and more. Photos courtesy Jon Recana Photography.
