When the guests at Timothy O’Toole’s Pub start crying into their beer, it may be because they're laughing so hard.
The Streeterville Pub has joined forces with Comedians You Should Know, a group of eight local stand-up comics, to present a weekly comedy showcase beginning in January.
The show features a rotating roster of eight of Chicago’s notable stand-up comedians every Wednesday at 9 p.m., plus local and national comedians making guest appearances.
CYSK was established in early 2008, and after months of getting rave reviews from theatre-goers, moved up the ranks. They’re now performing in venues like the Chicago Lakeshore Theater in addition to their weekly stint at O’Toole’s.
So check it out on Wednesdays and be prepared for a good time. Beer and belly laughs are always a winning combo; especially on hump day.
