Chicago's culture vultures will be out in full force Saturday for the Fourth Annual Flat Iron Gala in Wicker Park.
The event, hosted by The Flat Iron Artists Association, is an opportunity for art enthusiasts to come together to expand their collections during a silent and live auction conducted in part by celebrity auctioneers.
More than 75 artists have donated work for the event, which benefits Gilda's Club Chicago. Outside of the auctions, additional pieces will be on display and for sale.
The gala kicks off at 6 p.m., and a $10 donation gets you hors d'oeuvres and an open bar -- something else to swoop in on in case you get out-bidded for that velvet Elvis picture.
