Smashing Time DJs Mary Nisi and Carrie Weston, two fun-loving girls known for their tag-team style, will bring back their wildly popular Saturday night dance party at the Hideout this week, which is good news for anyone with an affinity for diverse music and a booty that needs shaking.
On Saturday, Jan. 17 from 11:30PM-3AM (you know it's a hot party if it starts after 11PM), Smashing Time will spin everything from Aretha to New Order to Biggie Smalls and back again. These girls play off of each other like Paris and Nicole in the good ol' days, improvising and egging each other on to raise the bar with each new song they spin.
This particular gig is a benefit for CHIRP, the Chicago Indie Radio Project. Your $5 admission fee will go toward keeping independent radio alive and well here in Chicago.
