    June is well underway, as is Chicago's outdoor festival season. This weekend we have a trio of popular festivals lined up, so there's no excuse to not get outside to enjoy some fresh air and culture. Admission to all three events is free.

    57th Street Art Fair
    Chicago's oldest juried art fair returns to Hyde Park this Saturday, June 6 (11 a.m. to 6 p.m.) and Sunday, June 7 (10 a.m. to 5 p.m.) Find original works of art from various media: ceramics, fiber, glass, jewelry, sculpture, mixed media, painting / drawing, paper, photography, printmaking and wood objects and furniture. Admission to the art fair is free.

    Printers Row Lit Fest
    From 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. this Saturday and Sunday, June 6-7, swing by the South Loop for the 25th annual book fair where booksellers, publishers, literacy and cultural organizations sell and promote books and book-related merchandise. Bring the kids; they will enjoy the Kids Corner complete with storytelling, costumed characters, performances, sing-alongs, and special activities coordinated by educational and cultural groups. Admission is free.

    Gospel Music Festival
    Fantasia Barrino, winner of season three of Americal Idol, will perform at the Chicago Gospel Music Festival  on Sunday, June 7 in Millennium Park. The two-day festival features more than 50 performances on three stages. Other performances include Donnie McClurken on Saturday, June 6 and Kirk Franklin following Fantasia and her mother Diane Barrino on Sunday. Admission is free.
