Lovers of champagnes and sparkling wines (and, really, who isn't?) won't want to miss Bubble Bath IX, Bin 36's annual holiday celebration of bubbles. Guests will have the chance to try more than 75 champagnes and sparkling wines chosen by Bin 36 wine director Brian Duncan, who has included everything from vintages from high-profile champagne houses to small-production gems from around the globe. Bin 36 chef John Caputo will also present light bites to pair with the wines throughout the evening.
The event also offers a silent auction and a raffle, with such big-ticket items as a luxurious trip for two to New York. This year's Bubble Bath benefits Girls on the Run Chicago, a charitable organization that helps girls learn self-respect through running. Five dollars from every ticket sold, as well as proceeds from the silent auction and raffle, will benefit the group.
Bubble Bath IX takes place on Wednesday, Dec. 10 from 6-9PM. Tickets are $50. All of the wines featured at the event will be available by the case or the bottle for 20 percent off in Bin 36's retail market and on the restaurant's Web site.
