LOTSA PASTA: It's National Lasagna Day, so celebrate at the four local Buca di Beppo locations (River North, Lombard, Orland Park and Wheeling), where you'll receive a free lunch-size order of the Italian restaurant's lasagna with every entree order. Today might be the day to skip breakfast, big boy. 11AM-10PM.
FOODIE FIGHT: Broadway Cellars in Edgewater is the place to be tonight for a "Tour de France" tasting featuring 20 wines from various regions of the grape-obsessed country along with French-accented appetizers (6-9PM, $20). Then, stay on for a "Top Chef Masters" viewing party to see Chicago "cheftestants" Rick Bayless and Art Smith battle it out in the finals while enjoying $5 drink specials (9PM, no cover).
TELL ME A STORY: Raconteurs from the Serendipity Theatre Collective will weave tales set to live musical accompaniment during this storytelling series at Red Kiva in the West Loop. Half-price bottles of wine will help set the mood. 7:30PM, $10.
