Larry King Hosts National Radio Hall of Fame Grand Opening
Legendary broadcaster Larry King hosted the grand opening of the National Radio Hall of Fame in Chicago's new Museum of Broadcast Communications on Saturday. The event featured a live broadcast in the style of the golden age of radio with presenters used scripts and a flashing "Applause" sign inviting the audience to participate. The Hall of Fame's Class of 2011 included names such as former president Ronald Reagan, who began his career as an sportscaster in Iowa. Presenters included Bill Kurtis and Jerry Springer.
