Chicago burlesque fans won't have any shortage of events to check out this weekend.
The second annual Windy City Burlesque Fest features more than 100 performers from all over the world Thursday through Saturday.
The opening night party goes down Thursday night at Hydrate, and performances will be held on Friday and Saturday night at 8 p.m., 10 p.m. and midnight at the Greenhouse Theatre (2257 N Lincoln Ave.).
Featured performers include Chicago's own Michelle L'Amour, and other names such Kitten DeVille and Coco Lectric. We'll let you Google those names yourself to see what they're all about.
"We're real excited about a performer from the UK, Anna Fur Laxis, who'll be doing an axe throwing burlesque act," says event organizer Red Hot Annie, who'll also be performing.
Tickets are $20, but anyone who donates a can of food also gets a raffle ticket for a chance to win admission to an upcoming "Show and Tell Cabaret" performance.
