Weekend: St. Practice Day Pub Crawl

WARMING UP: Get a jump on St. Patrick's Day on Saturday by heading to Streeterville. Five bars are participating in the annual "St. Practice Day" Pub Crawl. It starts out at Timothy O'Toole's Pub at 6:30 pm and moves along to various Streeterville bars, revelers spend approximately an hour at each location. Other participating bars include D4, PJ Clarke's, Lizzie McNeill's and Grami.

AFTER WORK: The Museum of Contemporary Art's popular First Friday's series features a Robots theme, which includes a scavenger hunt, a robot comedian, magic show and music from DJ Josh Madden. Tickets $10-$18 and available here.

BOTTOMS UP: Wicker Park's Smoke Daddy hosts a bottle release party for its new Bloody Mary Mix Saturday at 1 p.m. Curious sippers can enjoy live acoustic blues by Miles Sullivan and complimentary Bloody Mary Mix "Smokin' Mary" samplings until 3 pm. Specials include a Pulled Pork Sandwich, choice of side and a Smokin' Bloody Mary for $12.

CAJUN FLAVOR: SUSHISAMBA rio transforms into Carnival on March 5th with samba dancers, batuccada drummers, a live feed from Brazil and staff dressed in colorful, Carnaval-inspired costumes. The regular menu will be available, along with specialty Mardi Gras-themed food and cocktails.

GOIN' HOLLYWOOD: Chicago rapper Hollywood Holt celebrates the long-anticipated release of his new album with a live show at Schubas Sunday night, including new and classic material. Footage will also be used for a music video, so be sure to get your swag on. Tickets are $10 in advance for this 18 and over show.
