Yoga Booty Ballet Comes to Chicago

Things get steamy with Yoga Booty Ballet.
You may have heard about Yoga Booty Ballet or seen the infomercial, but now you can check out this Hollywood fitness craze for yourself at the newly opened Indigo Studio in River North. Indigo owner (and Chicago native) Jaclyn Jones discovered Yoga Booty Ballet at L.A.'s Swerve Studio, home of the yoga-dance hybrid.
Combining everything from kundalini meditation and hatha yoga poses to hip-hop, jazz, salsa and ballet dance moves, Yoga Booty Ballet is an hour-long class that works your entire body, with a focus, of course, on your backside. Instructors insist there is no prior dance or yoga experience needed (although a good sense of balance and coordination is sure to come in handy).
Indigo Studio offers daily YBB classes taught by Jones, as well as a retail area for yoga clothes and accessories. Single classes are $16, and packages and private lessons are available.
