LINKED IN: Attend "THAW: Melting Point," a benefit for beloved performing arts non-profit Links Hall, at Sonotheque in West Town tonight. The evening will consist of cocktails, appetizers and performances by Links Hall alums, including DJ Seth Hitsky and Same Planet Different World Dance Theatre. 5:30-9:30PM, $30.

WRITE AND ROLL: Hear readings by authors living out loud, such as Richard Price, Lydia Millet and Nami Mun, at "Literary Rock & Roll," part of Columbia College's Story Week Festival of Writers, at Metro tonight. A comedy performance by Rick Cleveland, music by JC Brooks & the Uptown Sound and book signings to follow. 6PM, free.

MIX IT UP: Learn how to concoct March Madness-themed cocktails at Arrowhead's bimonthly "Mixology 101" class. The comfy Wheaton restaurant and bar will host guests eager to learn how to make drinks with names like "Jump Shot," and then sample their work with appetizers. 7PM, $10.
