WHAT'LL YA HAVE? Get to know bourbon a bit better at a tasting at Drinks Over Dearborn. "The Boozehound Presents: Bourbon" is part of an ongoing tasting series designed to reveal the mysteries of certain spirits. Tonight, you'll get to try bourbons from Old Pogue, Willett Family Reserve, W.L. Weller, Booker's, George T. Stagg and, of course, Maker's Mark. 7-8:30PM, $25, call 312-337-9463 for reservations.

SEND ME AN ANGEL: The time is right for the "Spring Fling," an annual benefit for cancer charity Imerman Angels. The splashy event will take place at Enclave with an open bar, food, a DJ and a dance performance by Platinum Events. 8-11PM, $40.

HIP-HOP TO STARDOM: LA-based indie rapper Pittsburgh Slim makes an appearance at Lumen tonight to perform his catchy new single, "My Bitch is Crazy" from the soundtrack to the movie "The Bleeding," which features a cameo by Slim. Special guest DJ Bizzy joins Pittsburgh Slim for a night of hip-hop and remixes. 9PM, $20, free before 11PM with an RSVP to info@lumen-chicago.com.
