WHERE THE ART IS: Tour the galleries of the Loop's historic Fine Arts Building during its open studios event, which takes place the second Friday of every month. You'll get a glimpse of works by more than 100 local visual and performing artists. 4:30-9:30PM, free.

FOXY LADIES: The Shattered Globe Theatre presents "The Little Foxes," Lillian Hellman's classic family drama set in the South, now in previews. At the Greenhouse Theater Center in Lincoln Park, 8PM, $10-$25.

JAZZ IT UP: Chicago jazz tenor saxophonist Von Freeman, 86 years young and still going strong, plays with his quintet at Andy's Jazz Club in River North tonight. This is truly a chance to catch a living legend in action; don't miss out. 9:30PM, $15.
