Fire up the video camera and tap into your inner creative genius, because today is your last chance to submit a video in the "Why Chicago" video contest, hosted by Chicago 2016.

The contest, open to the public, seeks videos telling the world why Chicago should host the 2016 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

Several of the videos are currently on the Chicago 2016 Web site, and users can rate their favorite segments before the entries are judged.

The grand prize is a trip for two to Vancouver to witness preparations for the 2010 Winter Olympic Games. The second-place winner will receive $5,000 worth of video production equipment.

The five finalist videos will be shown on the NBC5 morning show starting Dec. 1.

A prize will also be given for voting on the Web site. The winner will receive a trip for six to the United States Olympic Committee's headquarters in Colorado Springs, Colorado where they can watch athletes train and participate in the USOC experience.
