Oliver and James Phelps, who play the Weasley twins in the Harry Potter films, were on hand to announce an upcoming exhibit at The Museum of Science and Industry: Harry Potter: The Exhibition, opening April 30th, 2009.
The classic black cape, frightening dementors and magical wands is just some of the Harry Potter memorabilia you'll be able to see in a new traveling exhibition set to make its worldwide debut in Chicago in April.
Officials say the exhibition will include elaborate displays and environments featured in the films, such as those from the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizadry, including the Griffindor common room and Hagrid's Hut.
On Thursday, hundreds of kids gathered at the museum for the big announcement and screamed in delight at the news. Some lucky fans also got autographs and signed memorabilia from the Harry Potter Weasley twins.
Harry Potter: The Exhibition will run from April 30, 2009 through September 7.
Tickets are available exclusively online at www.msichicago.org.
