One show? But Eddie Vedder is a Cubs fan.

Pearl Jam will be playing a concert at the United Center this summer, in one of only a few North American performances this year.

Pearl Jam were pioneers of the Seattle grunge movement, fronted by Eddie Vedder and famous for the epochal 1991 album Ten and its hits "Jeremy," "Alive" and "Even Flow," CBS2 reported.

They will appear on Aug. 23.

Tickets go on sale Saturday at 11 a.m. through the United Center box office and Ticketmaster outlets. The CBS Web site says members of Pearl Jam's Ten Club may get tickets through a pre-sale event.
