Memorial Day has come and gone.  You know what that means. (Yes, you can wear white pants and shoes and not feel like a fashion outcast, but that's not what we were getting at.) It's festival season in Chicago once again. And this weekend there's not just one but three fantastic street festivals to get you into the outdoor frame of mind.

Mayfest in Lincoln Square is free and runs Friday, May 29 from 5 p.m. - 11 p.m., Saturday, May 30 from noon to 11 p.m. and Sunday, May 31 from noon to 10 p.m. Get your fill of live entertainment, German music, pretzels, sausages, beer, and…a lot more beer. Did we mention that admission to this festival is free?  More $$ for beer.

Do-Division Street Fest and Sidewalk Sale spans Division Street from Ashland Avenue to Leavitt Street from noon to 10 p.m. on Saturday, May 30 and Sunday, May 31 and will feature live music, a family fun stage, a DJ party in a car wash (for real), lots of food and drink and wares for sale. $5 suggested donation to enter the festival.

The Belmont-Sheffield Music Festival runs from noon to 10 p.m. on Saturday, May 30 and from noon to 9 p.m. on Sunday, May 31 on North Sheffield Avenue from Belmont Avenue to School Street. Now in its 25th year, the popular street party features an impressive lineup of musical talent, food, beer, and fashion on display. $5 suggested donation.
