"24-7 Chicago: Secrets of the City," airs weekly, early Sunday mornings at 12:30 a.m.
The hosts, Catie Keogh and Billy Dec interview celebrities and local Chicagoans, providing a unique approach to Chicago's unique blend of urban liveliness and Midwestern charm.
Keogh is an alumna of Chicago's IO, formerly Improv Olympics, and also trained with Second City. She was previously the host of "Just B TV" in Baltimore, MD, and has numerous national commercials on her resume.
"24-7 Chicago" first aired on NBC5 on New Year's Eve, and has previously aired as webisodes on its Web site, www.247chicago.tv.
Dec is the creator, owner and operator of some of Chicago's most popular restaurant and nightclub venues, and the force behind Rockit Ranch Productions.
Each week, correspondent Marcus Riley, the Manager of Web Development for NBC5 Chicago, hosts the "Word on the Street" segment, a fast-paced look at some of the events coming up that week in the city and beyond. The information in the segment is coordinated with the NBC5 Street Team blog.
"We're thrilled to take '24-7 Chicago on-air," 24-7 Productions president Emerald Jane Hunter said. "There's no other Chicago show that really focuses on the people of the city -- and the people hold all the best secrets. Through '24/7 Chicago,' viewers will be able to learn things about the city that they never even knew, even if they've lived here their entire lives."
