Northwestern Head Coach Pat Fitzgerald disagrees with President-Elect Obama's statement that there should be a college football playoff.

It's time to admit that college football's current system of determining a national champion is flat-out broke. Heck, even President-Elect Barack Obama has pitched an 8-game playoff.

Smart guy like Pat should serve on the Obama transitional BSC playoff team--since the president-elect likes to hire those with opposing views--and help to come up with a plan that works which will cease the endless off-season frustrations of players and fans.
