Philadelphia Police officers try to stomp out a fire on South Broad Street in the Center City section early Thursday morning after the Phillies won the World Series.

Some fans get out of hand but the majority of the fans just want to show pride for there city and team. Philly Fans Celebrate in the Streets

After the Phillies claimed their first World Series title since 1980 their came a lot of celebration and a bit of destruction. Police were on rooftops and in riot gear at all the hot-spots. They say for most part, fans did exactly what they asked: they had a ton of fun, but didn't get too out of hand.
