Natural Causes: Actor Corey Haim died from pneumonia complicated by an enlarged heart and clogged blood vessels, in other words "natural causes," not a drug overdose as many thought. The Los Angeles County Coroner's Office released the results of Haim's autopsy late Tuesday. A spokesperson for the coroner said low levels of eight drugs, some prescriptions and others over-the-counter, were found in his system and a small amount of marijuana, but those did not contribute to his death. Haim died March 10 after collapsing in his mother's apartment.
Early Release: Rocker Bret Michaels is out of the hospital, but still as a way to go with his recovery. Doctors released the 47-year-old Tuesday, less than two weeks after suffering a brain hemorrhage, People reports. "Mr. Michaels was indeed a lucky person, a very lucky person," Dr. Joesph Zambramski said during a press conference yesterday. He is expected to make a full recovery.
Proud Parenting: Lindsay Lohan doesn't change her ways, even when her mom is in town. The two were spotted out at the Chateau Marmont, partying until 2:00am the night before Lindsay had to appear in court for her deposition, TMZ reports. Lohan's being sued by people in her car who claim they were held hostage when she went on a crazy, drunken ride in 2007. She did make it to court, but was more than 20 minutes late.
Boyfriend Bust?: Cameron Diaz was caught on camera leaving Alex Rodriguez's New York City apartment early Sunday morning. According to Us Magazine, Diaz was carrying an armful of luggage and quickly hopped into an SUV to get away. Diaz and A-Rod have been romantically linked since February, but neither have confirmed a relationship.He previously dated Diaz's fellow blonde actress, Kate Hudson.
Boyfriend Bust 2?: Keanu Reeves and Charlize Theron were spotted smooching after sharing dinner at a Beverly Hills restaurant. TMZ reports that the two locked in an embrace and tenderly swapped spit. They note that her hands were clearly even under his jacket. There's been no word on them being a couple, but this seems to suggest it.
Oops!: Julia Louis-Dreyfus gets a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, too bad they couldn't even get her name right. The LA Chamber of Commerce misspelled the "Seinfeld" star's name, leaving out the hyphen and the O in "Louis." CNN's David Daniel snapped a photo on his Blackberry Tuesday morning. He called the press rep for the Walk, who said Julia thought the mistake was hilarious and wanted them to leave it.
Emmy Pick: Jimmy Fallon will host the 62nd Primetime Emmy Awards, NBC announced Tuesday. The show airs August 29.
