Say it isn't so Simon!!! As if parting with Paula wasn't rough enough, the sassy man who sat at her left, Simon Cowell says he's out on "American Idol" after this season. The British media man will launch an American version of "The X-Factor" on Fox in 2011. The ninth season of "American Idol" starts tonight at 7:00pm.

"Tonight Show" host Conan O'Brien remains quiet about his plans once Jay Leno takes over his time slot. NBC wants to bump O'Brien back a half hour, placing Leno right after local news. Sources say Conan's not crazy about the idea and could be shopping around for another network, according to the New York Post.

The taping of  "Spider-Man 4" comes to a screeching halt after star Tobey Maguire and director, Sam Raimi, dropped out. Raimi reportedly couldn't make the big-budget flick in time for the summer of 2011, according to Variety.

And despite infidelity rumors, Josh Duhamel and Fergie say they renewed their wedding vows last week and plan to do the same thing every year.
