Edwards Engagement?: If you didn't think the former senator could get any sketchier...booyah...he just did! John Edwards proposed to mistress Rielle Hunter and is buying a million dollar beachfront mansion for them and their love child, according to the National Enquirer. The proposal allegedly took place the day he told her he would publicly acknowledge being the father of their 2-year-old daughter, Frances Quinn. Now Edwards' people told CNN this is "absolutely untrue." But keep in mind, he also spent years swearing he never had an affair before finally coming clean last August.

Duhamel's Demise?: The stripper is preggers and she says it's his. Actor Josh Duhamel allegedly cheated on his wife, singer Fergie, with Las Vegas stripper Nicole Forrester. Duhamel completely denied the affair, but now Forrester says she's pregnant and she's 95 percent positive it's Duhamel's baby, according to Perez Hilton. Hopefully this doesn't hamper the happy Hollywood couples reconciliation.

Mayer's Remarks: John Mayer's mouth got him in trouble again. The singer made racial and sexual remarks in an interview with Playboy that set off a firestorm. Yesterday he issued an apology on his Twitter page. "Re: using the 'N' word in an interview, I am sorry. I should have never said the word and I will never say it again," Mayer tweeted. Mayer used the slur when answering a question about whether he's accepted by rappers like Jay-Z and Kanye West as one of their own. Mayer also spilled the beans about his relationship with Jessica Simpson, saying he was sexually addicted to her. "That girl, for me, is a drug. And drugs aren't good for you if you do lots of them," he said.

Hospital Scare: Actor Alec Baldwin was rushed to a New York City hospital overnight and later released, sources tell WNBC. What exactly was wrong with the "30 Rock" star is unclear. Calls to his reps were not returned.

She's Back: Singer Celine Dion confirms a return to Las Vegas. Dion told PEOPLE she'll perform a brand-new show next year at Caesars Palace.
