    We asked, you answered.

We asked you to nominate moms for our 2014 Mother's Day makeover contest and vote for the moms you thought deserved it most.

    Here are the three finalists:

Finalist No. 1-- Linda Dell'Aringa (nominated by Kim Sprovier)

This has been a very rough year for my Mom. My 32-year-old brother just passed away from a 9-year battle with brain cancer. My Dad lost his job last year and they are currently living with me, my husband and our 8-month-old daughter. Please consider my Mom because I would like to see her happy again, even if it is just for a day! Thank you!

Finalist No. 2-- Megan Isenberg (nominated by Peggy Connor)

My sister and I are writing this letter to nominate a special woman for the Mother's Day Makeover. Megan is not our mother, she is our niece. In 2011, her husband, Matt, was hospitalized due to a severe brain hemorrhage, which left him in a coma for a month at the young age of 36 years old. For days Megan did not know if Matt was going to survive. People handle tragedy differently, but during this critical time Megan remained steadfast and calm for her young children. Matt was diagnosed with a severe brain illness called Wernicke's Aphasia, which is a loss of receptive and expressive language. He is back home now but Megan remains his main caregiver while raising the kids. Words cannot express our admiration for her. This is their new normal and if anyone deserves some pampering and relaxation it’s her.

Finalist No. 3-- Jan Golden (nominated by Bianca Golden)

My mom Jan Golden goes above and beyond for EVERYONE. I have a handicap brother that my mom spends all of her time taking care of - she does everything for him. She is always the last one to get ready and sometimes can't even get a shower in because she doesn't have time after getting everyone else ready. I also have two twin, adopted sisters that my mom has taken care of for the last 8 1/2 years. My mom deserves a makeover and to be pampered for a day! She is always doing so much for everyone else, why wouldn't she deserve a day to herself and to feel absolutely beautiful ?! That's why I choose my mom to be nominated for a makeover! Good luck momma I love you :)
