Viewers do not need a waiver to view Chicago television stations via satellite. You simply need to call your satellite provider and request the Chicago market stations as a package. The cost is $5.99 per month, and all Chicago network-owned stations, as well as WGN local are provided.
A 1999 court ruling prohibits the importing of distant market signals into local markets, so we are not allowed by current rules to grant waivers for you to receive NBC broadcasts from other areas of the country.
