Train bathrooms are often terrible, but dangerous?
One woman is suing Metra for injuries she sustained on a Chicago to Rock Island train when a train toilet she had used exploded.
In her complaint, filed in Cook County Circuit Court, Julianna Mandernach alleges that the "contents of the toilet exploded out of the toilet and splattered the plaintiff."
Her suit seeks damages and court costs from Metra for failure to repair and replace the toilet when the rail agency was aware it was in need of replacement.
Talk about a crappy ride.
