Red and blue exercise balls flew through the air as 475 Lake Zurich High School students -- all holding hands -- competed in a life-size foosball game this past Saturday.

But these students came to score more than just a goal. They wanted a Guinness World Record for the largest human foosball game ever.

Oddly enough, that Guinness category doesn't exist yet.

"Officially through Guinness I've gotta do more things just to kinda prove it to them and send in video to make it 'official'," said Lake Zurich High School band Director Josh Thompson, who organized the game.

"But we shouldn't have any trouble with that."

Whether the record-creating size of the game is approved by Guinness, Lake Zurich raised $943 dollars for the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
