I Feel Weird and Pale: NJ Tan Mom

New Jersey's Patricia Krentcil tells InTouch magazine she hasn't tanned for a whole month!

The New Jersey woman best known for allegedly taking her then 5-year-old daughter into a tanning booth with her tells InTouch magazine she feels "weird and pale" after abstaining from tanning for an entire month.

"Tan Mom" Patricia Krentcil, 44, shows off the new look for the mag. Even though everyone says she looks so much better less tan, she's unsure.

"I feel weird and pale," she said.

Krentcil's "tanning strike" comes less than two months after she declared to the "Today Show" that she wasn't changing her tanning habits anytime soon.

"I'm tan. I can be tan. It just feels good," she said.

It was statements like that that prompted doctors to speak out about Krentcil's excessive tanning, referring to the mom of five as "tanorexic."

"Once a doctor told me to stop tanning. But I didn't listen to him," Krentcil told InTouch. "I like looking like I just got back from vacation."

Her "tanorexic" tendencies have even gone so far as to be the inspiration for the world's first Tanorexic doll, made by HeroBuilders.com.

So will the woman who's facing child endangerment charges after allegedly causing her daughter to burn from bringing her into a New Jersey tanning booth be able to stay on the wagon and resist her urge to tan?

Krentcil says she may "squeeze in a tan here or there," but for now, she's done tanning.

And to that, we say, "good luck, Tan Mom," your future's looking brighter already.
