Adam Simon donned a diaper and beat out the other pampered pops in a race Friday for a job interview or a flat screen television.

The brave New Haven fellow entered the 200-meter race for a chance to get a job interview with Hamilton Connections, a full service staffing and recruiting agency and beat the competition in 23.76 seconds.

The winner could actually choose between that job interview or a 42-inch flat screen television and Simon picked the TV.

The race at the New Haven City Wide field house was a promotion by 99.1 WPLR's Chaz and AJ Show.

The race came the day after figures were released that the state lost 65,000 jobs this past year.
