Bank Robber Demands Cash, Medical Attention: Cops

Ohio man reportedly has a history of robbery convictions

Talk about bad timing.

A 39-year-old Ohio man with a history of robbery convictions reportedly passed out while attempting to hold up a bank on Friday.

Robert Strank, of Dayton, suffered a medical event and requested a medic from a teller at the Huntington Bank in Beavercreek, police told NBC affiliate WDTN.

As medics were on their way, Strank allegedly demanded cash from a bank teller too.

Medical professionals examined Strank at the scene and turned him over to police, WDTN reported.

He faces an attempted robbery charge.

In earlier bizarre bank robbery news, a Florida man was busted in February for allegedly spending his ill-gotten loot on losing lottery tickets.
